Mun'im Idris, the head of forensics at Cipto Mangunskusumo Hospital, told the Jakarta Globe they expected to have the results of the second autopsy in two weeks.
“We are looking for signs of violence to his body,” he said.
Irzen died on March 29 after meeting with debt collectors hired by Citibank Indonesia in a private room at Citibank’s office at Menara Jamsostek on Jalan Gatot Subroto.
He was said to have been contesting how his Rp 48 million ($5,600) credit card debt, which had been delinquent since 2008, had more than doubled to about Rp 100 million.
Though there have been conflicting autopsy results on the cause of his death, police have named five suspects in relation to the suspicious death, all of them employees of third-party debt collectors hired by Citibank Indonesia. It has led the family to request a second autopsy.
Meanwhile, OC Kaligis, a lawyer representing the family, on said that doctors examining the body on Wednesday had found wounds all over it.
“There are wounds all over his body and he also has broken teeth. These are signs of violence — something that we are looking for,” he said.
OC said Citibank should take responsibility for Irzen's death.

OC said Citibank should take responsibility for Irzen's death.
"They should be held responsible for this, they should be able to explain this to the family and the public,” he said.
“Citibank has been trying to hide something. They are fabricating the real story. It is weird."
Irzen's family filed a Rp 3 trillion ($346 million) lawsuit on April 14 against Citibank's main headquarters in the United States.
